Founder Of SEAL Team Six Responds To Making Women SEALs… Libs Are Furious

Is there anything more American than SEAL Team Six? I’m pretty sure there isn’t. Well, maybe a 1969 Camaro with a hot dog on the hood, Jimi Hendrix on the stereo and a Make America Great Again baseball cap on the dash. But SEAL Team Six is pretty darn close to that.

That’s why, if you’re a member of SEAL Team Six, people listen. And if you’re U.S. Navy Lt.Cmdr. Richard Marcinko, the now-retired founder of SEAL Team Six, people definitely pay attention.

So, imagine the frustration of liberals when the man who was tasked with creating the elite special operations unit that killed (or, to quote literary giant John Cena, “compromised to a permanent end”) Osama bin Laden announced he was steadfastly against women joining the Navy SEALs.

Marcinko made the remarks during a podcast interview last week with SOFRep.com, an online publication dedicated to special operations forces. He was asked what he thought about the recent decision by the Obama administration to admit women into all parts of the military, including special operations.

His answer was pretty blunt.

“Do I think we need to have a woman SEAL?” Marcinko said. “Somewhere between no and hell no.”

Of course, what does Marcinko know anyway? I mean, he only spent 30 years in the Navy, commanded SEAL Team Two, started SEAL Team Six and remains a legend in the military community. He certainly doesn’t know what the bureaucrats in Washington do.

What the media doesn’t like to point out is what the Navy SEALs endure. Social engineering doesn’t mean anything to vicious jihadis, and it doesn’t make our troops stronger.

And let’s face it — social engineering is what this is. It’s only a matter of time before pressure is put on the military to lower its standards so that more women make it into special operations units. Unfortunately, this is the kind of social engineering that costs lives.

Will the Obama administration listen to what Marcinko had to say? Tragically, I think the answer is somewhere between no and hell no.
