650 Million to Foreign Women – Trudeau Gives Terrorist Citizenship
Canada to champion sexual and reproductive health and rights around the world
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau marked International Women’s Day by promising $650 million for reproductive health and rights around the world.
The money, which will be invested over a three-year period, will support projects that provide sex education, strengthen reproductive health services, and support family planning and contraceptives. It will also fund programs to prevent and respond to sexual and gender-based violence, including forced marriage and female genital mutilation, and supporting the right of women to get safe and legal abortions.
Trudeau rewards a terrorist with citizenship
Zakaria Amara is a convicted terrorist, serving a life sentence for his role in a plot to murder scores of Canadians. And now, thanks to a Trudeau government bill passed through the Senate this week, Amara will soon be given the privilege of Canadian citizenship.
After all, a Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian, right?
In the case of Amara, this “Canadian” was born in Jordan and raised in Saudi Arabia.
He came to Canada as a teenager, became a Canadian citizen as a young man, and, by the time he turned 20, he was behind bars and charged with terrorism.
Canada’s so-called anti-Islamophobia motion is nothing but trouble
The term first worked its way into popular culture more than a decade ago. It was originally used to denounce the harassment and inconveniences average Muslims unduly faced in the aftermath of 9/11.
But Islamophobia soon morphed into a catch-all phrase to silence anyone critical of the religion. This applied even if they were denouncing extremism like Shariah law or groups like the Muslim Brotherhood.
Canada moving toward criminalizing “Islamophobia”
Canada is inching toward a broadly-based law that would codify “Islamophobia” as a hate crime without even defining Islamophobia or demonstrating that it is a phenomenon requiring legal action.
A big question to bear in mind is why the “Islamophobia” motion was “unanimously” agreed upon in Parliament. What happened to the few Conservative members present? And to the interim leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, and official opposition, Rona Ambrose? Were they, too, intimidated into submission at the expense of Canadians?
Vancouver mayor asks developer to dump Donald Trump’s name from city tower
Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson is urging a developer to drop Donald Trump’s name from a downtown tower project, saying the U.S. presidential hopeful’s “hateful positions” have no place in the city.
Robertson has sent a passionate letter to the Holborn Group, which is building the 63-storey Trump International Hotel and Tower on West Georgia Street.
“As mayor, I’m proud that Vancouver is known throughout the world for our steadfast commitment to diversity, equality and freedom from discrimination and hatred,” he wrote.Share on Facebook Tweet about this
