by AWR Hawkins An experiment conducted by a police officers and parents found that kids with guns in the home tended toward a greater respect for firearms and gun safety. According to Fox 17, the experiment was conducted in Texas and it involved eight children, “all of them [were] either preschool or kindergarten age.” The eight children were left together in a room with a fake gun that looks authentic, but could not be fired. Democratic Rep. Introduces Gun Ban for Persons Convicted of Hate Crimes

by AWR Hawkins Rep. David N. Cicilline (D-RI-1st) is sponsoring legislation that would prohibit persons convicted of hate crimes from purchasing guns, even if that crime was non-violent in nature. The legislation is titled, the Hate Crimes Prevention Act. The Hill points out that felony convictions of hate crimes already include a prohibition against gun possession and gun purchases. Cicilline’s bill would expanded that prohibition to cover misdemeanor convictions as well. He argues that misdemeanor hate crimes are “often a precursor of more severe attacks” down the road. Cicilline lists “vandalizing a place of worship” as a misdemeanor hate crime that… View Article

Lexington Facing Semi-Automatic gun Confiscation

Michael Cantrell Lexington, Massachusetts has a special place in American history as this is the location where the first shot was fired of the Revolutionary War, and now a new revolution is on the cusp of breaking out, only this time it’s tyrannical in nature. Doctors rebuked by federal appeals court after trying to invade patients’ rights by demanding to know whether they own guns

by: Daniel Barker For the third time, a U.S. Court of Appeals panel has reaffirmed the constitutionality of a Florida law that protects citizens from being asked questions by doctors about gun ownership. In the latest development regarding the so-called “Docs vs. Glocks” case, the Florida Firearm Owners Privacy Act has been upheld in the courts. In earlier rulings it was held that the act was a “valid regulation of physicians’ speech,” and that it passed the First Amendment intermediate scrutiny standard. The law in question prevents doctors from asking a patient (or a minor patient’s parents) whether or...

Walther MPL Run and Gun (Full Auto)

The Walther MPL is a gun that we have showed lots of love on TFBTV, mostly because it is in our opinions an underrated SMG. This open bolt 9mm from West Germany was introduced in the early 60s and could have been a very prolific little SMG… and then the MP5 came along. That said, how will it perform on the course?

Ever wanted a pump-action slingshot that fires knives?

From deep in his Bavarian bunker, Joerg Sprave gets back into the slingshot game with a pump action repeater that is fed by Kunai knives. Magazine fed, Joerg’s projector will hold eight of the sharp Kunai blades. A rubber band-powered sled hurls the blade down a channel made by aluminum guides and out the front. It seems crazy simple but JS pledges to make an all-aluminum version to crank up the power. We get the idea that Joerg’s house has a lot of battle damage.
