Rape Incest and Pedophilia of a Young Girl Required Reading for 11th Graders re: Common Core
The Common Core State Standards Initiative, commonly referred to as simply the ‘Common Core’ is a nationally standardized educational program developed by the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices and the Council of Chief State School Officers.
To date, 45 states and the District of Columbia have adopted part or all of the Common Core standards for their public schools. The goal is try to get public education standardized throughout the US so that students graduating from one state will have the same general educational background as students from other states when attending college or entering the workforce, thereby eliminating cultural biases that have handicapped students in the past, such as people from inner cities or Appalachia.
Math and English language arts are the two sections of the common core. In the English language arts standards, Common Core lists recommended reading materials appropriate for each grade level, and according to the common core, rape, incest and pedophilia is appropriate for 11′th graders.
One book on the exemplar reading list for 11′th graders is a 1970 novel by Toni Morrison called ‘The Bluest Eye.’ The book was written from the point of someone rapes, commits incest and commits pedophilia by preying on young girls.
