Concealed Carry Uber Driver Stops Gunman In Chicago
Shooting sprees happen so often in Chicago that it’s almost not even considered “news” anymore. And in their bizarre, delusional world, liberals believe that restrictive gun laws will magically take the guns out of the hands of criminals.
One would think they’d reconsider that ridiculous idea, considering the fact that Chicago is one of the closest places to the weaponless utopia they dream of. It’s only surpassed by cities like D.C., which also has some of the highest crime rates in the country.
Oh, the irony.
And let’s not forget, more than 50 people were shot in Chicago over the Fourth of July weekend last year.
Just another holiday weekend, right? Liberals just scratch their heads and wonder why.
But this is a Chicago gun story to rejoice about. A 47-year-old Uber driver witnessed a gunman opening fire at group of people in Logan Square this weekend. The Uber driver happened to be a concealed-carry permit holder, so he pulled out his firearm and shot the suspect multiple times. And guess what? No one else was hurt.

A group of people had been walking in front of the driver around 11:50 p.m. in the 2900 block of North Milwaukee Avenue when Everardo Custodio, 22, began firing into the crowd, Quinn said.
The driver pulled out a handgun and fired six shots at Custodio, hitting him several times, according to court records. Responding officers found Custodio lying on the ground, bleeding, Quinn said. No other injuries were reported.
Custodio was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic hospital, where he was treated for gunshot wounds to the shin, thigh and lower back, authorities said.
Authorities say no charges will be filed against the Uber driver because he was “acting in his defense and the defense of others.”
But you see, since there’s no political gain, MSM isn’t interested in the story. This is part of the reason why I find it hilarious whenever liberals pretend like they’re the champions of minority groups, like black community. The majority of gun violence victims in Chicago are black. If liberals really wanted to help, they would be championing this story and using it to reconsider their bogus views on guns.
The truth is, an unarmed populace is a goldmine for crazed criminals. The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. This story is proof.
