Washington State Is Providing Birth Control To 10-Year-Olds Without Parental Consent
A disturbing new report out of Washington State reveals that government overreach truly has no limits and has begun intruding into the critical relationship between parent and child.

Children as young as 10 years old are receiving taxpayer-funded birth control in Washington State, according to public records obtained by Judicial Watch from the agency that provides medical coverage for the poor.
JW filed a public records request with the Washington Health Care Authority after reading a disturbing article in a pro-life news site over the summer about a Seattle high school that offers different forms of birth control without parental knowledge or consent. This includes implanting an intrauterine device (IUD) in a girl’s uterus free of cost. It’s part of an initiative offered by Medicaid, the joint federal and state insurance program for the poor. The article points out the irony that a teen in Seattle can’t get a sugary soft drink in high school but can have a device implanted into her uterus.
Two awful things are happening here.
First of all, it is absolutely absurd to be encouraging 10-year-old children to be sexually active.
That’s not some Victorian attitude toward sex either. That’s basic human decency. Can we wait til our children are in high school before we start stuffing their backpacks with birth control and telling them to “figure it out”?
Second of all, on what planet is it morally sound to provide birth control to 4th graders without telling their parents?
It also turns out that surprise, surprise, the government isn’t keeping track of how many birth control pills and implants they are giving away.
Make no mistake, this is the new normal from the left wing radicals when it comes to “reproductive rights”.
Planned Parenthood, aka America’s favorite abortion factory, has been caught SEVERAL times failing to tell parents when their 13 and 14-year-old children have abortions after being impregnated by men who are over 18.
This is just the next manifestation of the intellectually dishonest “my body, my choice” battle cry that is being used across the country to justify the barbaric butchering of unwanted children.
Spoiler alert: When you’re a ten-year-old child, it’s not your choice. It’s Mom and Dad’s.
To summarize, the liberal state of Washington is providing taxpayer funded condoms, birth control pills, and birth control implants, to children as young as 10 years old without telling the parents or keeping track of how much they give away.
Sounds like a solid plan…
