Former presidential candidate Ben Carson was not shy about letting his true feelings be known about Obama’s DOJ going after North Carolina for their bathroom bill.
This is sort of an unusual display from Carson who is typically very soft spoken.
Maybe Trump’s rubbing off on him.
From Western Journalism:
“This is not the first time that we have seen discriminatory responses to historic moments of progress to our nation,” Lynch said on Monday in announcing the Justice Department was filing a discrimination suit against the state of North Carolina and its Republican governor Pat McCrory, who is up for re-election in the fall. “We saw it in the Jim Crow laws that followed the Emancipation Proclamation,” the attorney general added.
“That’s what they always say,” Carson told Fox News on Monday. “Everything is like Jim Crow. Everything is like racism and segregation and slavery. What a bunch of crap [emphasis added]. You know, they want to do that so that they can always gain the sympathy, but thinking people know better.”(See video below, starting at min. 3:20).“[W]e need to go back to recognizing data and science. You know, we know what men are, and we know what women are, and we’ve known that for thousands of years,” the former renowned neuro-surgeon said. “[I]f there are some people who are confused about it, we can make some accommodations for them, but it doesn’t have to involve everybody.”
Asked by Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto what Trump’s view is concerning the transgender bathroom issue, Carson responded, “What he has said is that this is a civil issue that should be handled at the state level.”
Obama’s administration — and liberals in general — have built their entire platform on finding creative ways to turn anything and everything into a diatribe about racism, making an effective outlet for their fake outrage.
I mean, in what universe do these people live in if they think it’s perfectly acceptable for a man to enter the ladies room, putting children and women at risk? This is not okay. At all.
It’s unreal we’re even discussing this, and to try and compare it to the actual racism that once existed heavily in America is deeply insulting to civil rights activists who really were fighting for equality back in the day.
Men shouldn’t be in the women’s restroom and Obama’s bloated federal government needs to obey the Constitution and stay out of issues and areas it isn’t allowed to be involved with.
