A Muslim woman strapped a bomb vest to her torso, walked into a crowded market, and tried to detonate the explosives, hoping to kill as many innocent civilians as possible. However, the suicide bomber failed to kill anyone, and she immediately realized that she’d have to deal with the furious crowd.
When Muslims kill in the name of Allah, it’s only because their prophet Muhammad set this brutal example 1,400 years ago. When they kill themselves in the process, it’s to receive the greatest reward, which the Quran reserves for those who “fight with their lives,” unlike the peaceful moderates who “sit at home.”
A pair of Muslim women understood these scriptures just as their prophet did — literally. In order to receive the reward in eternity as promised, they decided to give their lives in order to slaughter as many unbelievers as possible. Wearing explosive vests, the women slithered into the Kasuway Shanu cattle market in Maiduguri, Nigeria. The location was a prime target for maximum casualties, however, things didn’t go as planned.
The Deccan Chronicle reports that the first woman successfully detonated her vest. Unfortunately for her, she managed to kill only herself in the process. By this time, the frenzied crowd spotted the second woman attempting to explode her vest as well. Enraged, the civilians set upon the Muslim bomber before she could detonate. Delivering a brutal dose of mob justice, the livid crowd beat the woman to a bloody pulp before lynching her.
After police arrived, they found the second female bomber hanging by her neck and freed her body, according to the Daily Mail. Specialists carefully diffused the bomb and there were no casualties, other than the 2 amateur jihadists.
The women are suspected of having ties to Boko Haram, although no one has claimed responsibility for the attack. The militant Islamist group has killed more than 15,000 and over 2 million people in their attempt to establish Sharia law.
“I was told by the Chief of Army Staff that the Camp fell at about 1:35 p.m. on December 23, and that the terrorists are on the run, and no longer have a place to hide,” President Muhammadu Buhari said. “I urge you to maintain the tempo by pursuing them and bringing them to justice.”
Buhari claims that the military’s destruction of the group’s main base in Sambisa Forest signifies “the final crushing of Boko Haram.” However, even if he succeeds in wiping out the terrorist organization, another always rises to replace it.
While most Muslims will agree that suicide is against Islam, they fail to mention that martyrdom is encouraged. The Quran states that when a jihadist is slain in battle, he is victorious and will receive a “vast reward.” The Quran repeatedly lauds those who “slay and are slain” as the most devout and loved by Allah.
Quran (2:207) – “And there is the type of man who gives his life to earn the pleasure of Allah: And Allah is full of kindness to (His) devotees.”
Quran (4:74) – “Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward.”
When Muslims kill other Muslims, Allah says that they are simply necessary casualties for the cause. In 17:33, he explains that the ends justify the means. Of course, even Muslims who aren’t following all of Allah’s commands are fair game, as the punishment for such sins is often death anyway.
Muslims are commanded 109 times by the Quran to use violence and manipulation to destroy all other religions, values, cultures, and laws in order to establish Islam and Sharia throughout the world. They are promised world peace once they wage war and defeat the unbelievers, and only then can they attain it. Ironically, this is the reason Islam is called the religion of peace.
