Shortly after word began to break that attackers had run over people on London Bridge and stabbed others in bars, President Trump retweeted a headline from the Drudge Report.
Fears of new terror attack after van ‘mows down 20 people’ on London Bridge…
— DRUDGE REPORT (@DRUDGE_REPORT) June 3, 2017
That was at 6:10 p.m. EDT, still very early in the ordeal. But by then the tell-tale signs of a terror attack were already quite evident.
Except to NBC News.
Pres. Trump has used Twitter to share news report on London incident.
We aren’t relaying president’s retweet, as the info is unconfirmed.

Around midnight London time — or a little more than an hour after Trump tweeted — the British Prime Minister Theresa May, weighed in the attack. NBC posted that right away.
JUST IN: British PM May says “terrible” incident in London is being treated as a “potential act of terrorism”. https://t.co/QRH9RULHF8

So, NBC Nightly News would rather go with what another foreign leader says than their own president.
That’s how bad it’s gotten. NBC will pour out the fake news, but when the president of the United States says “terror,” the network ignores.
