While Barack and Michelle Obama spent the past eight years tearing down the American education system with everything from forcing boys and girls to use the same bathroom to turning school lunch programs into the kind of food that might fly at a vegetarian prison farm, kids in Eastern Europe were learning how to handle firearms responsibly.
A video showing a Russian girl reassembling an AK47 assault rifle has been widely shared on Facebook because it draws scathing distinctions about what Obama never would have allowed to occur in America.
The video brings to mind the importance of teaching kids about gun safety and how to be proficient with a weapon.
Under the Obama administration for the last eight years, there was zero tolerance for anything firearms-related — and it was just one of the long list of things the previous administration got wrong.
Now, obviously, nobody is rooting for guns in school to be used willy nilly, but it’s an article of faith among liberals that sex ed teaches kids to approach sex responsibly. They could at least be consistent when it comes to firearms.
Meanwhile, in the Home of the Free, the American school system is dealing with the aftermath of the Obama years, when the Department of Education felt free to dictate from Washington to every local school district in the country how they need to treat young boys and girls unfortunate enough not to be able to accept the bodies God gave them.
Fortunately, President Donald Trump and Education Secretary Betsy Devos are already overturning the Obama-era liberal agenda. And Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue is taking on the Michelle Obama school lunch fiasco with the memorable words: “If kids aren’t eating the food, and it’s ending up in the trash, they aren’t getting any nutrition.”
That’s what used to be called common sense.
Meanwhile, the liberal Obamas’ fanatical opposition to anything gun-related was steadfast throughout their two terms in the White House.
According to Small Arms Survey, there is no scientifically proven connection between the number of violent deaths and the number of citizens who own firearms in the United States.
While the left peddles their narrative that more guns equals more crime, that’s a statistical fallacy and inaccurate. Data supports that more guns don’t equal more crime. But the Obama administration pursued its obsessive crusade against guns with the same ardor that it pursued its obsession with teenage sexuality and control of the American diet.
Liberals hate facts, which is why they attempt to mislead the American people while trying to eliminate our Second Amendment rights.
They would have no problem teaching the girl in this video that she was actually an aspiring lesbian, but they can’t stand that she’s learning how to operate a machine that makes her the equal of any man when it comes to a life-threatening confrontation.
