Attorney General William Barr broke down the rationale behind the dropping of criminal charges against Gen. Michael Flynn, who was being prosecuted for lying to the FBI. Barr was speaking in an interview with CBS News.
“Our duty, we think, is to dismiss the case… A crime cannot be established here. They did not have a basis for a counterintelligence investigation against Flynn at that stage.”
