Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is one hot mess. The more time goes on, the more she is revealed to be completely unfit to act as a prosecutor in any official capacity.
Two more defendants in the Fulton County RICO case have called on Willis to recuse herself from the ongoing legal proceedings.
Former Chairman of the Georgia GOP David Shafer and former Coffee County Republican Chairwoman Cathy Latham filed a motion to have Willis removed as the prosecutor in the Fulton County case.
The two cite Willis’ admitted personal relationship with attorney Nathan Wade and her lack of evidence supporting that any crime even occurred as reasons she should step down.
In my opinion, Willis should recuse herself and then resign from her post altogether. How can she prosecute others when she, herself, is not exactly squeaky clean?

The addition of Shafer and Latham means five of the remaining 15 Trump defendants are now formally seeking to disqualify Willis and the DA’s office from the case.
Former Trump campaign aide Michael Roman was the first to do so.
His court filing last month contended Willis must be removed because she had financially benefited from an improper, romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade.
Charles R. Downs touched on the collaboration between Willis and DC Democrats: “The fact that Jamie Raskin lied about the J6 Committee deleting their communications with Fani Willis shows there is information out there that Willis, Liz Cheney and other election interferers don’t want the American people to know.”
