With just over two weeks until the April 28th federal election, we are reaching a critical moment for the future of our shooting sports and hunting in Canada.
The CSSA has been working around the clock to protect your rights:
- Our digital billboards are now visible and have been since the writ was dropped.
- Our social media campaign is reaching millions of Canadians.
- We’ve officially registered as a third-party advertiser with Elections Canada.
But we need your immediate action in these final 16 days.
CRITICAL DATES TO REMEMBER:
- April 18-21: Advance Polling (9 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily)
- April 28: Election Day
THREE ACTIONS YOU MUST TAKE THIS WEEKEND:
1. CONTACT YOUR CIRCLE
- Call or visit at least five neighbours this weekend.
- Share factual information about how these policies affect law-abiding citizens.
- Remind them that staying home is effectively voting against our heritage sports.
2. PLAN YOUR VOTE

- Confirm your registration at elections.ca.
- Make a solid plan to vote in advance polls (April 18-21).
- Arrange transportation for fellow club members who need it.
3. AMPLIFY OUR MESSAGE
- Share CSSA’s social media posts with your networks.
- Forward this email to other firearms owners.
- Print our informational page for your local range.
REMEMBER: A re-elected Carney government has made it clear – they plan to end shooting sports and hunting as we know it in Canada. This is not hyperbole; this is their stated intention.
Our digital campaign is making waves, but personal connections win elections. Your voice, multiplied by thousands of CSSA members across Canada, creates an unstoppable force.
