US Senator Marco Rubio issued a forceful 2025 Easter message, reminding people of the centrality of the Christian faith in their lives and its importance as a pillar of society.
“Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the king of kings and lord of all nations,” declared Rubio, highlighting the relevance of Holy Week and the celebration of Christ’s resurrection as a moment of reflection and reaffirmation of spiritual values.
In his message, the senator made an explicit call to all nations to respect the right of Christians to publicly proclaim that Christ is King. Rubio emphasized that religious freedom and the recognition of faith are fundamental to free, orderly, and prosperous societies.
The lawmaker stressed that Easter is not only a religious date, but also a reminder of the importance of protecting the family, life, and traditional values in the face of cultural pressures seeking to weaken them.
“This is a time to reaffirm that the principles of our civilization rest upon faith, morality, and respect for legitimate authority,” added Rubio, warning about ideological threats that, according to him, seek to replace Christian values with progressive and politically motivated agendas.
