First, the Japanese team gave the English squad a playing lesson, then the fans went viral for their elevated behavior.
Soccer is the most popular sport on Earth, but when it comes to the fans, many times they broadcast a terrible image of violence and chaos to international viewers.
But that’s not the case with the highly civilized Japanese fans.
After a stadium game ends, the stands are usually littered with plastic cups, fast-food wrappers and the like.
But what transpired after Japan’s landmark win against England in Wembley was very different.

The Telegraph reported:
“Supporters of the Blue Samurai stayed behind for 30 minutes to celebrate their first victory against England. They then collected litter and left the away section as tidy as they found it.
Footage of the Japan fans collecting rubbish into blue plastic bags, when most other supporters would be returning home down Wembley Way, has gone viral. Officials from Wembley thanked the away fans for their clean-up operation, which has become a tradition for their supporters.”
