The Gateway Pundit reported on the tragic and brutal murder of United States Marine Daniel Montano, 21, in Wilmington NC, on Easter morning.
As WECT reported, Wilmington police responded to reports of fighting in the downtown area at roughly 2 am Sunday. There, they found that two people had been stabbed.
One of the victims was 21-year-old Daniel Montano, a United States Marine. He had been stabbed in the neck and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Unfortunately, Montano later died from his injuries.
After a manhunt for the perpetrator over several days, which included surveillance footage, the Wilmington Police Department (WPD) announced the arrest of Davy Spencer,47.
Spencer was charged with second-degree murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. He is currently being held without bond, and his first court appearance is scheduled for April 13.
Spencer has an extensive prior criminal history in the area that goes back three decades and includes previous drug-related felonies. In 2015, he was sentenced as a habitual felon and has been incarcerated numerous times.
