Twelve people were shot, two of them critically, when two gunmen opened fire on each other at the Old West End Festival in Toledo, Ohio, on Saturday afternoon.
The shooting broke out around 5:30-5:40 p.m. near Glenwood and Delaware avenues in Toledo’s historic district, where the annual Old West End Festival featuring live music, food vendors, and home tours was underway.
Victims ranged in age from 14 to 61 years old, with most in their early 20s.
All were rushed to local hospitals, and ten are listed in stable condition.
Toledo police said it appears the two gunmen were shooting at each other before fleeing the scene on foot.
No suspects have been arrested, and a manhunt is underway.
Deputy Chief Joe Heffernan and Investigative Lt. Dan Gerken confirmed at a press conference that the gunmen remain at large.
Lt. Gerken added, “As far as violence, this is over the top.”
