Buffalo City Hall raised the Somali flag on July 1, 2026, to celebrate Somalia Flag Day, which occurs just as it announced the cancellation of its downtown Fourth of July fireworks display.
Allegedly, the two events were not directly linked by the city.
The flag raising was for Somalia’s Independence Day. If people like it so much, they must move there. They will be happier.
Before they raised the Somali flag, city officials cited a lack of a suitable, safe, and accessible location for the event.
Sure, we believe that.
Democrats love all flags except the U.S. flag.
And in Birmingham, New York:
Mogadishu? Nope.
