The White House has rolled out a new round-the-clock streaming channel called “TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station,” giving viewers a direct feed of President Trump’s speeches, appearances and administration highlights.
The launch came on the same day the major television networks halted pooled video coverage of the president after CNN was prevented from serving its scheduled turn in the White House television pool.
The White House announced that the new stream would operate 24 hours a day and go live Monday evening:
The White House lists the channel on its official live page as “TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station.” The administration says the stream will collect its biggest moments, major remarks and selected highlights in one place, with updates made in real time.
The launch announcement describes it as a continuous stream rather than a single scheduled event. That gives the administration a standing video outlet for speeches, official appearances and clips selected by the White House communications team.
The channel appears alongside other official livestreams and archived events already carried on WhiteHouse.gov. Its new branding packages those materials as a dedicated 24/7 station, making the administration’s own video feed available even when no network pool camera is operating.
The rollout followed several teaser posts from the official White House account. The first showed an old television set carrying a brief “stay tuned” message:
