Colorado: An Attack on Your Hunting Heritage is Set to Take Place Tomorrow
Tomorrow, the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission will be meeting in Burlington to discuss a list of hunting-related issues, with a potential ban on lead ammunition being one of the main topics. Lead ammunition used by hunters has not been scientifically proven to cause health problems for wildlife populations or pose health risks to humans.

Bull’s-eye: NRA won 91% of races, crushing Bloomberg’s gun grab
In its best election in over a decade, the National Rifle Associationscored a 91.2 percent win rate in the House and Senate races it jumped into, and also found the bull’s-eye in state races, according to the Second Amendment group.

California: One Step Closer to Shall Issue!
A monumental February 14, 2014 ruling from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in the NRA sponsored case of Peruta v. San Diego County found that the San Diego County Sheriff’s policy of refusing to issue licenses to carry firearms in public unless an applicant could demonstrate a special need beyond the right of self-defense was an unconstitutional violation of the Second Amendment. Orthodox Jewish N.J. Shooting Club Challenges OU & RCA on Gun Control
A New Jersey shooting club that caters to the needs of Orthodox Jewish gun owners is challenging two major Jewish organizations in an effort to get the Orthodox community to become more accepting of the idea of gun ownership. Golani Rifle and Pistol Club was established in 2003 to enable people who desire an extra level of personal protection, as well as those who enjoy shooting for sport, to improve their marksmanship skills and participate in gun club events, usually closed to observant Jews because they tend to be held on Shabbos.

Washington: Gun show sales appear to rise after passage of I-594
Voter approval of universal background checks for gun transfers on Nov. 4 appeared to spur a bit more buying of firearms at gun shows over the weekend, according to gun show operators opposed to Initiative 594’s provisions.

Gun control measure could be headed for Nevada ballot
Nevadans for Background Checks collected about 250,000 signatures, according to Kayla Keller, a spokeswoman for the group. It currently takes 101,667 signatures from registered Nevada voters to qualify an initiative for the ballot.
