Failure of Socialism – Female Concealed Carry
Today Brian Lovig Talks about
Failure of Socialism – Female Concealed Carry
Socialism is the 20th century’s greatest tragedy. Although its evangelists promised equality, prosperity and security, it was only responsible for misery, poverty, and absolutely 100% of the time ended up in tyranny.
Actually, it is interesting to note that socialism in the 20th century did achieve a form of equality after all, but only in the form that all people in socialist countries were equal in their misery and poverty. Having spent considerable amounts of time in actively socialist countries, I have seen the anguish of its proletariat with my own eyes… although I never thought that I would live to see the Kremlin lecture Washington on the dangers of socialism.
Just like Madoff’s Ponzi pyramid scheme initially showed staggering success but then collapsed like the house of cards that it was, socialism demonstrates signs of success in its early stages. The essential problem is that all of the gains, real or imagined, fade rapidly as the basic and inescapable deficiencies of the policy of central control of an economy emerge.
I remember a gardener years ago discussing a particular way to over-fertilize a plant. That process would lead to a swift growth spurt and early blooming. Unfortunately, the plant would succumb to the excessive nutrients in the soil and would never bear fruit before it withered and died. That is an excellent metaphor for the life cycle of socialism.

Female Concealed Carry
The rise of women’s fashion designed to conceal GUNS
Fashion designers are cashing in on new state laws allowing concealed weapons by creating clothes and accessories for the purpose of hiding guns.
Sarah Church, founder of her own eponymous clothing line, is just one designer whose creations have been featured at the Firearms and Fashion Show, an event held in Chicago that showcases how to incorporate items of self defense into your wardrobe.
One of her designs is a $165 front-zip hoodie dress that comes in black and green. ‘This is a dress you could wear anywhere, anytime,’ she told the Chicago Tribune. ‘And when you’re carrying a gun underneath, no one will know it.’
Marilyn Smolenski, who runs online retailer Nickel and Lace, and former police officer Karen Bartuch, who started AlphaGirls, hosted the second annual event in Chicago on Saturday.
They explained that the show has the purpose of helping women realize they can be fashionable at the same time as carrying arms.
‘This is about getting women to think about self-protection,’ said Ms Bartuch. ‘We are girly girls who like fashion, but we like guns too.’
The Fastest Growing Segment of New Gun Owners
Women today know that if they want to protect themselves then they must take action. Part of protecting yourself is arming yourself and earning a concealed carry permit so that you are able to defend yourself in the event of an attack. The only person who can defend yourself is you, relying on another person or the police, with their slow response times are not going to be able to stop a surprise attack.
In the time it takes to get your phone, call 911, have a police officer dispatched and arrive at your location you can easily be stabbed, shot or worse. Women all over the United States understand the risk they are in everyday and have become the fastest growing segment of new gun owners.

Concealed carry permits on the rise in New Mexico
More and more people across the state and county are seeking concealed carry permits, a rise gun safety instructors attribute partly to national politics and diversification of gun ownership in recent years.
Nearly 3,000 concealed carry permits were active in Doña Ana County in June, up 50 percent from June 2012, six months before the gun control debate returned to the national stage. Statewide, more than 33,500 permits were active in June, up 42 percent from 2012.
