In a cute video, 2-year-old Tallulah, who now sports a blond mullet, gives her dad a specific reason why she trimmed her ‘fringe,’ or bangs: ‘I didn’t want it to be in my eyes!’

Hair today, gone tomorrow.

An adorable viral video features a British toddler admitting that she trimmed her own bangs (or, as they call them across the pond, “fringe”), and she doesn’t appear to regret her decision.

“I cut my fringe … I didn’t want it to be in my eyes!” 2-year-old Tallulah says in the clip while clutching clumps of her blond locks.

The little girl promises her dad that she won’t trim her own hair anymore.

“What do we do when we want to cut our hair?” her dad asks.

“Go and ask mummy and daddy,” the tot responds.

Her dad explains in the video’s description that he “came downstairs to find that Tallulah had got her first ever haircut.”

“Unfortunately it was self-administered,” he adds.

Tallulah’s dad then compares his daughter’s new mullet to the hairstyle sported by Yolandi Visser of the South African rap group Die Antwoord.
