2 Hindu men claim to have been banned from ‘Muslim-free’ shooting range
The father and son say they were denied entry to The Gun Cave Indoor Firing Range in Hot Springs, Ark., by owner Jan Morgan, who says she prevented the pair from entering due to ‘safety concerns’ and has proudly declared her business ‘Muslim-free.’
wo Hindu men claim they were banned from using an Arkansas gun range that proudly declares itself to be a “Muslim-free zone” after the owner mistook them for being Muslim.
The father and son allege that they were turned away from The Gun Cave Indoor Firing Range in Hot Springs on Sunday afternoon, reports Arkansas Matters.
The pair, who has not been named, claims that on arrival they were immediately asked by proprietor Jan Morgan where they were from.
“She mentions that this is a Muslim-free gun range and if you are then please leave,” the son told Arkansas Matters.
They claim that they told Morgan they lived in Hot Springs. When pressed further on the issue, they revealed that they were both of Indian descent and actually Hindu.
“She just said, you know I don’t think you guys belong here,” the son added.
The father and son left, and the younger man then took to Twitter to vent his anger.
“My dad and I just got kicked out of a Muslim-free gun range. I’m not Muslim, I’m just brown. She threatened to call the police on us if we didn’t leave,” he posted.
Morgan has since denied asking whether the duo were Muslim.
She claimed she prevented the pair from using the range simply because of “safety concerns” and not because of their race or religion.
An article on her website, however, details why she “does not want Muslims shooting at my range.”
She claims that the Koran contains 109 verses commanding hate, murder and terror — and says that she has had her life threatened by Islamists.
