College Serves Mexican Food at Sci-Fi Event, Liberals Students Immediately Cry “Racist!”
If I were to ask you, what is the most common theme among science fiction films since the dawn of the moving picture, chances are your answer will either be spaceships or aliens.
We have all seen the little green men with ray guns, running amok, causing chaos and destruction. Tentacles, ESP, more eyes than an Obama speech (he says ‘I’), and “we come in peace” are all staples of alien movies.
But be careful if you are having a viewing party. You know, when all your geek friends (I am a massive geek so take no offense) get together to binge watch Star Wars, Star Trek, or Battle Star Galactica.
Because if you do throw a viewing party and decide to serve food, make sure it’s not Mexican themed. Why you ask? Well as the Chicks put it: Sci-fi = aliens = illegal aliens = illegal immigrants = YOU RACIST!
During a sci-fi event at Stevenson College, the school decided to serve Mexican food. Some students claimed it was racist.
Fox News writes:
[Brian] Kilmeade said that some students were offended, because they felt the combination of food and the theme was racist. Students cited the association between Mexicans and illegal immigrants.
After receiving a number of complaints and protests on campus, Dr. Carolyn Golz, a college administrative officer, issued an apology letter.
“As a result of this incident, I will require cultural competence training for Programs staff, in addition to implementing mechanisms for future program planning that will ensure college programs are culturally sensitive and inclusive,” Golz wrote in the letter.
It is amazing how stupid liberals can be and how ridiculous each of their battles are.
Have they never heard the age old saying “pick your battles?”
When they cry like children that something is racist when it is so blatantly obvious that it’s not, they hurt their cause more than they help it.
Even though the school caved, it makes the protesters and the institution look like a bunch of whiny liberal morons.
Time to go watch the new Star Wars trailer and make some nachos.
