Islamic Shooters in Garland Have Connection to Muslim Democrat’s District in Minnesota

The two radical Islamic terrorists who were gunned down by Texas law enforcement in Garland Sunday evening were inspired to carry out the attack by a recruit from Minneapolis.

This means these two nuts have connections to the congressional district of Muslim Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison.

Ellison’s district seems to have become ground zero for the radical Islamic threat to America, especially from ISIS.

From WCCO:

In recent months, Elton Simpson, one of the two Texas gunmen, began communicating through Twitter with the Minnesota fugitive known as Mujahid Miski who is in Somalia.

On April 23, Miski tweeted “The brothers from the Charlie Hebdo attack did their part. It’s time for brothers in the #US to do their part.”

Moments before last night’s attack Simpson tweeted “May Allah accept us as mujahideen” and then created his own hashtag #texasattack. Minutes later, Simpson and the other gunmen were dead.

Soon after, Miski and other radicals were online celebrating Simpson’s martyrdom and even tweeting “This one should hit the front page.” Miski also tweeted that he would miss Simpson’s daily greetings.

The problem emanating from Rep. Ellison’s district is so bad that even liberal think-tanks are starting to acknowledge it, and given the current progressive slant of our culture, that’s really saying something.

From Think Progress:

On April 19, six Somali-Americans were arrested for attempting to travel to Syria and link up with the Islamic State, also referred to as ISIS or ISIL. All were young men between the ages of 19 and 21. Zacharia Yusuf Abdurahman, 19, Adnan Farah, 19, Hanad Mustafe Musse, 19, and Guled Ali Omar, 20, were arrested in Minneapolis while Abdirahman Yasin Daud, 21, and Mohamed Abdihamid Farah, 21, were arrested trying to buy fake passports in San Diego.

These men are the latest in a line of young Somali-Americans recruited to join FTOs, an issue that this community — described by locals as “vibrant, resilient, and peaceful” — has faced since 2006.

As if all of that isn’t enough to make you go “hmmm,” how about the fact that last month, Ellison wrote a piece for the New York Times opposing measures to make sending donations to Somalia — a country brimming with radical terror groups — more difficult.

Most people want such measures in place to prevent radicals from getting their hands on funds and using them to pay for their terrorist activity.

It certainly seems strange that all of this junk is happening under the nose of a Muslim congressman, doesn’t it?

I’m not a tinfoil hat kind of guy, but I think all of this strains credulity and requires some kind of investigation to see what’s really going on in Minnesota, particularly in Ellison’s district.

He himself may not be a radical, but how — without a proper investigation — do we know he’s not somewhat sympathetic to the cause?

I think it’s time to start looking into this matter more seriously, because even if he’s innocent in the situation, there’s something going on that needs to be stopped before more attacks are carried out on American soil.
