Teen Who Rescued Blind Kid From Bully Suspended, Kicked Off Football Team
We now live in a world where a Muslim kid can bring a clock to school that looks just like a bomb and he gets a free trip to the White House, but when a young man actually stands up and defends a blind boy from getting the crap kicked out of him by a bully, he gets punished.
Liberalism is truly a sickness of the mind, and it’s totally destroying our society.
Yesterday, a video was making it’s way around the Internet showing a blind boy getting his face punched in, when a another teen stepped in and laid the bully out flat with one punch.
The school rewards the kid for his heroic act by kicking him off the football team and giving him a suspension.
From The Daily Mail:
A California teenager who rushed to help a blind classmate being beaten up by a bully has been kicked off the football team.
The high school junior was hailed as a hero for intervening after he saw the ‘visually impaired’ student being repeatedly hit round the head during lunch break at Huntington Beach High School, California on Wednesday.
Students told KCAL9 the visually impaired student was attacked for no reason.
Grant Morels said: ‘I saw like a half circle around a group of kids and I wanted to see what was up. And I see this kid like getting wailed on by another kid.’
No arrest is expected for the intervening teen who has been praised by his peers and online for standing up for his classmate.
But his school took a different approach and are believed to have kicked the have-a-go-hero off the football team after he breached their ‘zero-tolerance’ policy on violence.
A petition has been started to get the student reinstated to the football team, which now has close to 25,000 supporters.
Cody stepped in when he saw his friend and fellow classmate who is visually diabled being physically bullied. (Punched multiple times in face/head) Cody comes and steps in, punches the bully one time to get him away, guides his friend to a safe location and talks to the bully about how he was beating up a blind kid and how it was wrong. There is Youtube video of the main part of the confrontation.
We believe Cody should be back in school where he belongs. While violence is never the best option what Cody did to defend his friend and classmate was justified. And schools “zero-tolerance” policies out even the person saving disabled friends.
I sincerely hope the school has a change of heart on the matter. This is why a “no-tolerance” policy doesn’t really produce right results. If a fight breaks out, it should be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
If this was the policy, Cody wouldn’t be punished for defending a classmate who was incapable of protecting himself.
Discouraging a kid from taking action to defend the weak is why so many cowards running this country today refuse to stand on principle and just give in to whatever culture demands, regardless of whether it’s right or wrong.
This kid did what was right, even though it cost him something. Many others stood around watching, too afraid to step in and stop the beat down because they cared more about themselves than this poor boy.
If we want future generations of selfless, brave men and women who do the right thing to serve and protect their fellow man, then we should stop punishing kids who choose not to be apathetic and stand by while evil acts are committed before their eyes.
Mr. President, this is the kind of kid who deserves an invite to the White House.
