‘Sports Illustrated’ Swimsuit Model is a Big Supporter of Gun Rights

Sports Illustrated knows that sex sells, which is why they’ve put out a swimsuit issue for decades.

Though, had they known that one of their gorgeous models, Hannah Ferguson, was a gun rights supporter, I have a feeling she would’ve been replaced faster than a bullet leaves a barrel.

In a recent interview with FOX411, Ferguson says she learned how to shoot with pellet guns at a young age. Since then, she believes learning about firearms has shaped her perspective and might help others who “misunderstand” guns:

“I feel like it’s good to have gun knowledge. I feel like a lot of people are scared of guns. They think they’re bad and they really don’t know anything about it.”

That said, Ferguson remains firm that there should be some sort of check on people’s mental stability before purchasing guns in America:

“I don’t think they should be taken away from people because any bad person who wants to find a gun is going to find a way to get it and then what? We don’t have a way to protect ourselves? I feel like people should get more knowledge and understanding.”

Score one for the good guys.

It’s nice knowing that some millennials out there understand the meaning of the Second Amendment and don’t blindly conform to whatever Barack and Hillary have to say.
