Tucker Carlson Calls Out Trump-Hating Author During Interview
Tucker Carlson is on a roll.
He promised that his new solo TV show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” would provide spirited debate and hold powerful people accountable for their statements. Let’s just say Carlson doesn’t disappoint.
Last night, his target was Tariq Nasheed, self-styled expert on racism, politics, and “picking up chicks”. After Nasheed criticized president-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet as including members of “a white supremacists (sic) sect that literally throw up Nazi salutes,” Carlson tossed him into the frying pan.
The Daily Caller reported the interview. Clearly, Carlson isn’t afraid to swim into uncomfortable waters.
Carlson read passages from Nasheed’s book, specifically one called “Guaranteed Ways to Get Sex From Women,” in which Nasheed enumerates “tried and proven techniques,” “lies,” and “rebuttals.”
“You’re advocating lying to take advantage of women sexually. This is in your book. I’m not misquoting it,” Carlson posed to Nasheed. “Why should we believe anything that you say if you’re counseling people to say ‘I love you’ and lie to women in order to get them in bed?”
As Carlson pressed for specific examples of Nasheed’s assertions about Trump’s cabinet, Nasheed touted his book as satire and took every possible route to get Carlson off his back.
Here’s the video:
Five nights each week, Carlson shreds liberals without discrimination. On Friday, beloved (and white and rich) actor Mike Farrell was first in the oven for teaming up with other (mostly white and rich) actors to try to block the Electoral College from fulfilling its duty to confirm President-elect Donald Trump’s election.
Carlson also took Newsweek senior writer Kurt Eichenwald to task for his clear departure from unbiased reporting. During the 2016 presidential campaign, Eichenwald asked conservatives why they “hate America” and referred to Trump as “stupid and lazy” and to his supporters as “dumb-ass Trumpers.”
As Carlson became more specific, Eichenwald became unglued, to the point where Carlson said he was “concerned.”
Tucker Carlson gets better by the day, and watching him call out liberal hypocrites is at least as entertaining as it is informative.
