The 7 Worst Media Losers Of 2016

The media was one of the biggest losers of 2016, as the election of Donald Trump to the presidency reflected how the American people no longer take the mainstream media seriously, as they have exposed their true, partisan colors.

Here are the seven worst media losers of 2016.

1. Martha Raddatz. Raddatz of ABC News earns this distinction because her bias for Hillary Clinton was blatant to the point where she began to cry when it became clear that Clinton was going to lose to Trump:

After moderating a presidential debate in which Raddatz actually began arguing with Trump for a period of time, there is a sense of justice in seeing her tear up when her precious Clinton lost.

2. Anderson Cooper. CNN’s Cooper moderated the same debate as Raddatz, and he too was awful, as he set the stage for Trump’s pending sexual assault allegations with a debate question and even asked Trump if he has “the discipline of a good leader,” and then proceeded to ask Clinton if Trump has those qualities. Cooper also steered away from Clinton’s email scandal when Trump brought up and fact-checked Trump in real-time, but failed to do so for Clinton. The world saw Cooper’s left-wing hackery in action, and the election of Trump is egg on Cooper’s face.

3. Jorge Ramos. Ramos has always been known as an amnesty hack masquerading as a journalist, but the rise of Trump caused Ramos to go off the rails, as he said earlier in 2016 that the media needs to throw out their objectivity and oppose Trump because they need to oppose “racism, discrimination, corruption, public lies, dictatorships and violations of human rights I think we have to take a stand.”

When Trump lost, Ramos doubled down on his rhetoric, vowing “to be an opposition journalist” and basically admitting to being on the side of the Democrats.

“Politically, I believe that we are…a leader is wanted,” Ramos said in an interview with journalist Carmen Aristegui. “Politically, the Democratic Party is in search of leadership that can confront Donald Trump because it is now clear the old guard of the Democratic Party didn’t work out. and there are no leaders. They all- where are the young leaders of the Democratic Party? Who is going to be that opposition? Who is going to be that opposition figure that will face Hillary Clinton? We don’t have that right now over here.”

Ramos even went as far as saying that Latinos who voted for Trump “forgot their origins.” That and the “we” in reference to the Democrat Party reveals Ramos’s true partisan colors.

“2016 will be remembered as the year that Jorge Ramos gambled away his credibility,” declared Jorge Bonilla of Newsbusters.

4. The New York Times. When Trump won, the New York Times sent out an email to their subscribers that read as if they were to trying reassure their readers that they would hold Trump accountable.

“As we reflect on this week’s momentous result, and the months of reporting and polling that preceded it, we aim to rededicate ourselves to the fundamental mission of Times journalism,” the email read. “That is to report America and the world honestly, without fear or favor, striving always to understand and reflect all political perspectives and life experiences in the stories that we bring to you. It is also to hold power to account, impartially and unflinchingly. We believe we reported on both candidates fairly during the presidential campaign.”

Why would they need to “rededicate” themselves to their mission of objectivity if they were supposedly fair and balanced during the election?

The Times‘s profits also declined immensely in 2016. Coincidence?

5. Politico reporters. Reporters from Politico had a rough year, as their left-wing partisanship became front-and-center.

The WikiLeaks emails exposed reporters Ken Vogel and Glenn Thrush‘s collusion with the Democrats. Vogel had sent a story to the Democratic National Committee for approval before sending the piece to his editors, a major breach in journalism ethics. Thrush was caught sending pieces to the Clinton campaign for approval–twice.

Julia Ioffe, on the other hand, revealed her left-wing screed through an expletive-laden tweet that read, “Either Trump is f***ing his daughter or he’s shirking nepotism laws. Which is worse?” Ioffe was subsequently fired from Politico, although she was already on her way out to work for The Atlantic.

6. Katie Couric. It was discovered in 2016 that Couric deceptively edited two documentaries to promote her leftist narrative. In one documentary about gun control, she deceptively edited the response to members of a pro-gun organization when she asked how to “prevent felons or terrorists from purchasing a gun” without background checks to make it appear as if they couldn’t answer the question, even though the original audio shows the members each gave multiple answers.

The other documentary was about obesity, and Couric deceptively edited a clip to make it seem like a nutrition expert was unable to explain the science behind the inconclusive correlation with sugary drinks and obesity. Director Stephanie Soechtig also edited in herself saying “It feels like you’re avoiding the question” when she asked the spokeswoman for the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation if they were going to offer lower calorie options.

Between the two, it’s clear that Couric’s editing has shattered her credibility.

7. MSNBC. The far-left network was so committed to Clinton to winning the presidency and opposing Trump that their mournful reactions to Trump winning were pricelessly hysterical, as can be seen here and here.
