Alberta Education – Maxime Bernier
You think you know what Alberta students learn in school?
Question: What do the following three points have in common?
1. Avoid using terms such as “boys and girls” and use alternatives such as “comrades”, “folks” and “friends”
2. Organize a school-wide drag performance
3. Require all students to participate in mandatory international letter-writing campaigns to advocate for LGBTQ rights
Answer: These are just three examples of recommended teacher lessons and practices from the new Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) resource entitled PRISM Toolkit for Safe and Caring Discussions about Sexual and Gender Minorities, Secondary Edition, which has been published for use with Grade 7-12 students.
The opening pages state that a copy will be provided “free of charge” to all ATA members and credits funding support from the Government of Alberta.
From lesson plans and “inclusive” practices to some concerns with the document, let’s take a closer look at this PRISM resource which was generously provided to all teachers in the province courtesy of your taxpayer dollars.

Trudeau economically clueless
Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau says the current federal election should be about helping the middle class.
However, unlike his predecessors as head Grit, Trudeau has also played the class-envy card over and over by promising to help the middle class by punishing “the rich.”
Until Trudeau came along it was never Liberal practice to demonize those Canadians who have become successful in business, investing or the professions.
But never mind that now.
Canadian PM Trudeau: We Won’t Attack ISIS Even if Bombed
Apparently the greatest threat to ISIS is Canadian multiculturalism.
When it comes to brutal Islamic terrorists bent on destroying the West, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says it’s all about “rising above fear” and showing that the best way to defeat ISIS is to live in a pluralistic, multicultural society.
Thus, the Canadian leftist has vowed that his military will not bomb ISIS even if Canada is attacked. Israel National News shares highlights of the recent interview in which Trudeau shows he hasn’t a grasp on reality, does not understand what ISIS really wants, and does not know how to protect his citizenry. Maintaining that he will keep his post-election promise to end the Canadian Air Force’s role in the allied bombings of ISIS, Trudeau said he will instead focus on humanitarian work in Syria and Iraq.Share on Facebook Tweet about this
