Before Sunday’s playoff game between the Edmonton Oilers and the Anaheim Ducks, country star Brett Kissel was prepared to sing the American anthem, but discovered his microphone wasn’t working, In a beautiful display of Canadians’ love for America, the crowd of roughly 18,000 people picked up the cue from Kissel and proceeded to sing The Star Spangled Banner en masse a cappella.
Kissel had sung the American national anthem every game of the playoffs, so there was no doubt he knew it.
