The owner of a trail camera that survived a forest fire was even more surprised when he checked the camera’s memory card.

Amazingly, the Stealthcam PX 14 camera and the card survived the fire, and the pictures revealed that the camera kept on working as fire ravaged nearby land.

A video of the camera uploaded to YouTube by Sahn Outdoors showed the incredible damage done to the camera, and when you see it, you will understand why it is amazing that the camera managed to survive the blaze.

n fact, the owner of the camera said the camera still took pictures.

Take a look: (Pictures captured by the camera begin around 1:00.)

There was no mention of where this fire was located. However, Sahn Outdoors is located in Utah, and there was a wildfire in southern Utah a few weeks ago.

It is surprising that the hardware and software in the camera survived a wildfire.

However, it isn’t the only camera to survive the intensity of a fire.

Last year, photos captured by another stealth camera in Alberta, Canada, took incredible images of a wildfire in Fort McMurray.

The owner of this camera also said that the camera still worked after surviving the wildfire.

One thing is certain: the owners of these cameras definitely got their money’s worth.

It is incredible that these cameras can still operate after surviving such extreme temperatures, but they are very useful in showing the public how much devastation forest fires can cause.
