Group of Bikers Deliver Brutal Justice After Finding Out 6th Grader Was Attacked
“People would kick me and call me names,” Phil told the local news station. ”I really don’t tell people.”
On one occasion, the boy’s mother, Tammy Mick, saw her son come home with welts on his body, only to have him tell her he was beaten for being overweight. Her son also told his mother he had suicidal thoughts.
At a loss for what to do, the boy’s mother explained the story to Brent Warfield of KDZ Motorcycle Sales & Service who immediately offered to step in and help.
Eager to do whatever he could to get the little boy smiling, Warfield gathered more than 50 of his friends. Before Mick headed off to school one morning, the bikers surprised him at the house, took him out to breakfast, and then escorted him to school, but not before saying a prayer with the boy.
Mick told the local news station she is incredibly grateful for that experience. She said that since that special day, her son has come home smiling from school.
Fox News reported that Warfield is passionate about child bullying and teen suicide issues. He often organizes charity rides in the community to build awareness about the dangers of negative social interaction
In a lengthy Facebook post, Warfield explained why he was so eager to help this 6th grade boy.
“We would like to see programs with speakers go to schools and discuss bullying,” he wrote. Warfield suggested that parents keep tabs on their children’s social media to keep an eye out for bullies or negative material.
“One good way is to monitor there social media,” he explained as a way to combat bullies. “We are not placing blame! Just looking for solutions.”
“God Bless!” he concluded.
If only more people in our communities stepped in to help the marginalized and stood up for those who need support, this world would be a better place.
