Shooting Guns is Fun – Trumps Transgender Ban in Military
It’s rather fun, actually
Advocates for gun control need to understand some of the pleasures of shooting
SHOOTING a handgun at a target is a thrill; don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. You load bullets into a clip, push it up into the gun, turn off the safety catch, take careful hold of the gun with two hands, aim and shoot. The thing jumps in your hand and you see the bullet knock a hole in the target and spark off the floor at the back of the range. There is an extraordinary rush and then you do it again. Another spark; perhaps this time the hole in the target is a little closer to the centre. Soon you have fired the whole clip and you’re loading the deadly weapon in your hand again
6 Tips for Taking Kids Shooting for the First Time
It’s amazing how time flies when you’re raising kids. I can’t believe that it’s been a whole year since my oldest son went shooting for the very first time. Every year, my extended family has a get together in the fall that we’ve affectionately dubbed “The Turkey Shoot” since it takes place close to Thanksgiving. We meet at a mountainside property where we spend the morning outside enjoying the crisp air, casually plinking away at ground targets and hand-throwing clays for those who brought shotguns. When the shooting is over, we head over to a relative’s house for a delicious meal that we all cook together. It is, quite simply, one of the best days of the year.

Get your Whole Family Involved with Shooting Firearms
Recreational shooting is a great way to spend time with your family and properly educate your children on gun safety, gun etiquette and improve their shooting skills. While many tend to shy away from guns all together, taking your family shooting provides valuable lessons that cannot be taught in any other environment. When you take your family shooting at the range, you are not only teaching them about target shooting, but you are instilling in them the importance of respect, safety and concentration. Spring break is the perfect time to get your family involved in recreational shooting.
Canadian Government To Pay Islamic Terrorist $10.5 Million
Omar Khadr will receive $10.5 million dollars (CAD) from the Canadian government, according to a Tuesday-published report from The Canadian Press.
Citing “an official familiar with the deal,” The Canadian Press reported that Khadr’s legal team and the Canadian government negotiated the deal last month. The Canadian government will also “apologize” to Khadr for unspecified reasons.
Khadr is the son of Arab Islamists, born in Canada in 1986 via “birth tourism” to secure his birthright Canadian citizenship.
Canadian Military Tweets Welcome as Trump Bans Transgender Personnel
Canada’s military took to Twitter to welcome recruits from all gender identities on Wednesday, hours after U.S. President Donald Trump said he would ban transgender people from the U.S. military.
The tweet from the Canadian Armed Forces’ official account included a photo of military band members marching in a parade with rainbow flags fluttering from their instruments.
“We welcome Cdns of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Join us!” said the tweet, which included the hashtag #DiversityIsOurStrength.
Within an hour, it had been retweeted 2,500 times.
Trump’s surprise announcement, in a series of Twitter posts on Wednesday, drew condemnation from rights groups and some lawmakers in both U.S. political parties as discrimination with purely political motives. But it was praised by conservative activists and some Republicans.Share on Facebook Tweet about this
