Journalist Arrested After Posting Pic of Dem Idol Getting Friendly With Nazi

Leftists in both the United States and Europe have descended into pure irony. In their hysteria over “fascism,” liberals are now acting far more fascist than the groups they claim to oppose.

First, we saw that trend with the “antifa” group, which sees itself as a crusader against Nazis yet uses suspiciously fascist-like violence and intimidation routinely.

Now, the home of actual Nazism itself has apparently lost the plot, and is stifling free speech in the name of “fighting fascism.”

Germany recently convicted a journalist and sentenced him to a suspended six-month jail term, according to The Issue. His crime: Posting a historical photo on Facebook, and suggesting that Islam and Nazism might have similarities.

Michael Stürzenberger has been an outspoken critic of Islam for years. He recently publicized a photo of Amin al-Husseini, a prominent 20th century Muslim Palestinian leader, shaking hands with a Nazi officer during World War II.

The journalist’s Facebook post and a longer German article in PI News stated his opinion that “Islam is a fascist ideology,” and also explained that “political correctness has long prevented this fact from being openly stated.”

Since contemporary liberalis idolize all things Islamic and especially those heroic Palestinians, that’s tantamount to committing sacrilege against Muhammad himself. The German justice system is apparently reacting like an outraged Shariah court (minus the whipping).

According to Truth and Action, Stürzenberger was reportedly charged and found guilty of “disseminating the propaganda of anti-constitutional organizations,” as well as “inciting hatred towards Islam” by publishing what appears to be an authentic, historical photo.

For his “crime” of holding an opinion, the German journalist was sentenced to six months in jail and community service. The sentence was suspended, which means that he is essentially on probation but will be put in jail if he dares say unapproved things again.

It sounds like a scenario out of Orwell’s “1984.”

During a video interview with Vlad Tepesblog, the reporter noted that only critics of Islam were being arrested, while other religions were frequently mocked. “Of course you can say what you like about Christian religions, then you do not break any peace,” he stated.

In another example of Germany’s “anti-hatred” laws only applying in one direction, President Donald Trump was recently portrayed giving a Nazi salute on the cover of a German magazine.

That altered picture was accompanied by the words “Sein Kamph,” which means “his struggle” and was an obvious comparison to Adolf Hitler and his infamous book “Mein Kamph.”

Apparently, comparing the president of the United States to Hitler is a-okay, but using an actual picture of an Islamic leader getting chummy with an actual Nazi — using historical evidence to suggesting that Islam might be a bit fascist — is crossing the line.

While the German government is arresting journalists for having opinions, they are also importing alarming numbers of Islamic refugees with shockingly few immigration safeguards in place. As recent Islamic terrorist attacks in Europe showed, that decision could have deadly consequences.

Free speech is under attack. In both Germany and the United States, the groups who seem the most fascist are cloaking themselves under the cover of “social justice”… but their true colors have now been seen.

Americans need to oppose and fight against this type of “approved oppression,” before simple rights like the freedom to say something unpopular become relegated to the past.
