Mother’s Sonogram Picture Goes Viral for “Divine” Reason
A Pennsylvania mother saw something incredible when she took a close look at her ultrasound.
It appeared to be the image of someone watching over her baby daughter, and Alicia Zeek thinks she knows who that someone is.
“When they gave it to us … to me, it’s Jesus. And it looks like Jesus,” Alicia Zeek told WPMT.
Zac Smith, the baby’s father, also said the image of Jesus wearing a robe was distinct.
“There’s another face looking at my daughter!” he said.
The image made him emotional.
“When I seen it, it almost brought tears to my eyes… I was speechless, I just couldn’t believe it, I really didn’t believe what I was seeing.”
The image gave the couple a sense of comfort, which is significant with this particular pregnancy.
Zeek experienced complications bearing her first two children. In fact, she almost lost her own life during her second pregnancy. These circumstances made Smith nervous during her current pregnancy.
All the more reason why the image in the ultrasound was so comforting.
Smith said an image of something divine looking over their baby was a sign from above that the couple had nothing to worry about. Whether it was an “angel or God or Jesus, however you want to propose it, I look at it as my blessing.”
Zeek and Smith are not the first parents to see something spectacular in the an ultrasound. Other parents have seen what they believed to be positive signs, while others have seen images that were less reassuring.
As for Zeek and Smith believing something from above was watching over their daughter — they might have been right.
WPMT reported that baby Briella was born on Aug. 22, and she is healthy and doing well.
