TERRIFIC: 11-Year-Old Frank Gets His Wish To Mow White House Lawn

“Ask not what your country can do for you”

The negativity pervading today’s politics can be a severe mood-killer some days. Time to inject some positive energy into this downer fest. If your umpteenth pause of self-assurance that Hillary will never be president won’t do the trick, then perhaps this story about 11-year-old Frank Giaccio getting his wish to mow the White House lawn will.

When the savvy adolescent Frank wrote President Trump earlier this year, he asked that the President grant him neither the comforts of money nor the glories of fame, but rather the chance to live up to President Kennedy’s famous call to “ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.”

What could an 11-year-old possibly do for his country? He could cut the grass on the lawn of America’s finest house.

Wearing safety goggles and a pair of earplugs, Frank Giaccio showed that grass who’s boss, giving the White House that much needed makeover President Trump allegedly called for. His hard work earned him both a handshake and personal thank you from the president himself.

Last month, WH Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders read Frank’s later asking President Trump for the opportunity.

“Dear Mr. President, it would be my honor to mow the White House lawn for some weekend for you,” he said in the letter. “Even though I’m only 10, I’d like to show the nation what young people like me are ready for. I admire your business background and have started my own business.”

Frank turned 11 shortly after writing the letter.

“I have been mowing my neighbors’ lawns for some time … Here’s a list of what I have and you are free to pick whatever you want: power mower, push mower, and weed whacker. I can bring extra fuel for the power mower and charged batteries for the weed whacker,” his letter continued.

Naturally, leftists on social media have used the cheerful event to mock President Trump.
