Bloomberg disputed Laura Ingraham’s report and said the teens have not officially received an invitation to the White House yet.
One of the mothers of a Covington teen who was in the viral smear video told TGP’s Cassandra Fairbanks that she has not heard from anyone about her child being invited to the White House yet.
Update: INGRAHAM SAYS: Now White House now seems to be in flux re. Covington Catholic kids. Announced any meeting would happen after shutdown. Odd as it would be less meaningful if delayed.

The President broke his silence about the Covington Catholic kids in a tweet Monday night.
Trump continued to tweet about the vicious smear campaign against the teens Tuesday morning in a tweet, saying “Nick Sandmann and the students of Covington have become symbols of Fake News and how evil it can be.”
TRUMP: Nick Sandmann and the students of Covington have become symbols of Fake News and how evil it can be. They have captivated the attention of the world, and I know they will use it for the good – maybe even to bring people together. It started off unpleasant, but can end in a dream!
