California vs Churches – California Homeless

California Assembly seeks LGBT affirmation from pastors, churches

The California State Assembly passed a resolution on Monday calling on religious leaders and others with “moral influence” to affirm homosexuality and transgenderism. The resolution asks counselors, pastors, churches, educators, schools, legislators, and others to avoid supporting traditional and Biblical views of sexuality, which the measure claims can cause suicide and depression. The text of the resolution includes philosophical statements about the nature of human sexuality and a broad condemnation of so-called “conversion therapy,” which it says “has been rejected as ineffective, unethical, and harmful.”

Newsom blames Trump for California’s growing homeless epidemic

You will notice how important it was for Gavin Newsom to mention that any collaboration from President Trump must come in the form of “Federal Investments”

That is what this is all about, big money, the California Democrats want more Federal dollars. They are depending on that money to make themselves and their friends richer during their time in office.

13 mayors from the largest cities in California signed the letter…the majority of them are Democrats of course. The few Republicans in the bunch sound a lot like Democrats. This is so rich coming from Gavin Newsom who literally went to El Salvador this year to learn how California could do more to help them. Gavin Newsom who just passed a budget which allotted millions of dollars of taxpayer money to help illegal aliens avoid deportation.

Former CIBC Banker Wins Appeal Claiming He Was Discriminated Against For Being A Straight Man

A former employee of Canadian bank CIBC won an appeal to have his discrimination complaint reassessed this week, according to a federal court.

The employee’s claim? That he was told he had “no hope” of a promotion because he was straight.

Previously, the Canadian Human Rights Commission had dismissed Aaren Jagadeesh’s claim that he was subject to discrimination due to his sexual orientation as a straight man, according to the Daily Mail. Jagadeesh was turned down for multiple promotions and said he was told by his boss to join a “group” of gay and bisexual men in the office, as only they would get promoted.

SNC-Lavalin fined $280M for fraud related to Libya operations

A division of SNC-Lavalin Inc. admitted Wednesday it committed a crime while operating in Libya — putting an end to a case at the Montreal courthouse that for months caused headaches for the federal Liberal government.

During a hearing before Quebec Court Judge Claude Leblanc, the company, represented by lawyer François Fontaine, pleaded guilty to committing fraud “against various Libyan authorities.”

Through a joint recommendation, SNC-Lavalin Construction Inc. was sentenced to pay a $280-million fine over a five-year period and to three years of probation.

Trudeau broke ethics rules over SNC-Lavalin affair, 2nd ethics violation since 2015

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was found to have violated a section of the Conflict of Interest Act with his conduct in the SNC-Lavalin scandal, marking the second time Trudeau has been found to have violated the ethics code since coming into office in 2015.

Ethics commissioner Mario Dion released a damning report Wednesday that found Trudeau improperly pressured former justice minister Jody Wilson-Raybould to reach a deferred prosecution agreement with Quebec engineering giant SNC-Lavalin to help the company avoid criminal prosecution on fraud and bribery charges.

The real scandal is how Justin Trudeau’s four ethics violations carry no punishment

Canada’s prime minister was found guilty of violating four sections of the Conflict of Interest Act governing public office holders, stemming from two 2016 vacations on Bell’s Cay, a private island in the Bahamas owned by the Aga Khan.

Beyond the legal wrong-doing, Conservatives are no doubt rejoicing that Trudeau screwed up in the least middle class-ish way — by taking a private aircraft to vacation with a billionaire in the Caribbean.
