California Rejects 100k Mail-In Ballots for Primary Election Due to Abnormalities

By

This is what Democrats want on a national basis.

Over 100,000 mail-in ballots submitted by California voters during a March presidential primary were rejected due to abnormalities, in a taste of what is to come if widespread mail-in voting is used during November’s presidential election.

“The only thing worse than people not voting is people attempting to vote and having their ballot uncounted,” said Kim Alexander, who serves as president of the California Voter Foundation, also noting that these canceled votes “can make a difference in a close contest.”

California claims that 70,330 ballots were rejected because they were not properly postmarked on or before Election Day and received before three days following the election. An additional 27,525 ballots were rejected because they lacked a proper signature. The rejected ballots would be enough to swing an election during a general election, particularly the state and local races.
