Olympic Hero Kerri Walsh Jennings Doubles Down on Anti-Mask Stance
‘Freedom is Right Worth Fighting For’
Olympian Kerri Walsh Jennings is refusing to back down after not wearing a mask in public and getting criticized by the fear-ravaged mob as a result.
Jennings wrote on Monday that she “had a little exercise in being brave” over the weekend by going shopping without a mask. The Olympic hero is dismayed that so many of her fellow Americans have rolled over without “much of a fight” and masked up without questioning whether or not it makes sense to do so.
“We are all endlessly complaining about the restrictive & arbitrarily selective rules that we are being strongly ‘suggested’ to follow & yet we are all consenting,” Jennings wrote on Monday.

“Not much of a fight, just a lot of complaining & strongly disagreeing with this manipulation, but we keep consenting. It’s maddening. It has crushed our society, people’s livelihoods, our children’s spirits, & the fabric of our world. We have become a country & a world estranged from each other & it is more deeply unhealthy than any virus could ever be,” she added.
In her follow-up post, Jennings said that she did not want to offend anyone but still feels it is necessary to stand up against the creeping medical authoritarianism that is changing the fabric of the country.
