Let Desperate People Steal Necessities … Without Prosecution

Cynthia Nixon believes those who shoplift basic necessities should get a pass — but her intended compassion is falling on deaf ears — and the actress is getting hammered for it.

In a rather Robin Hood moment, Nixon tweeted, “The CVS on my corner has started locking up basic items like clothing detergent. As so many families can’t make ends meet right now, I can’t imagine thinking that the way to solve the problem of people stealing basic necessities out of desperation is to prosecute them.”

Of course, what Nixon is saying is that people who can’t afford necessary items and steal out of desperation shouldn’t face criminal charges.

When Trudeau virtue signals, ya gotta Lovett

Look
I understand too little too late
I realize there are things you say and do
You can never take back
But what would you be if you didn’t even try
You have to try
So after a lot of thought
I’d like to reconsider
Please
If it’s not too late
Make it a cheeseburger

I thought that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau could probably make good use of the verse if we just, with a nod from Lyle, change the last lines to:

Please
If it’s not too late
Make it a National Indigenous Peoples Day

Now, of course, I don’t want to make fun of the prime minister. I’m sure he was sincere when he made the solemn announcement last year that he had, after long deliberation, come to a momentous decision — he renamed National Aboriginal Day.

Why some schools in Canada have unmarked graves

Leaders of Indigenous groups in Canada say investigators have found more than 600 unmarked graves at the site of a former residential school for Indigenous children, which follows the discovery of 215 bodies at another school last month.

The new discovery was at the Marieval Indian Residential School, which operated from 1899 to 1997 where the Cowessess First Nation is now located, about 85 miles east of Regina, the capital of the province of Saskatchewan.

Woke twit Justin Trudeau ignores 13 years of a gender unemployment gap to virtue signal, poor, poor Canada

What did the wretched Canadians do to deserve Justin Trudeau as their leader? The man who wears his Eid socks to the Pride Parade, or is it the other way round, is a virtue signalling loon par excellence. His latest outburst is on the gender unemployment gap.

In the socialist paradise of Canada, between 2007 and 2019 male unemployment was, every single month, higher than female unemployment. You don’t need a PHD in dressing up in blackface as part of your multicultural awareness education to know that this is down to the growth of service industries and the decline of manufacturing. But did Trudeau think this gender unemployment gap was worthy of comment? Er…no.
