Twitter Account Documents Squalid “Third World City” of Los Angeles

Belongings of the homeless crowd a downtown Los Angeles sidewalk in Skid Row on May 30, 2019. – The city of Los Angeles on May 29 agreed to allow homeless people on Skid Row to keep their property and not have it seized, providing the items are not bulky or hazardous.
A Twitter account titled ‘Street People of Los Angeles’ has attracted a following for demonstrating the squalid, derelict conditions of an increasingly “3rd world city,” revealing the fruits of “progressive” Democrat governance.
Videos uploaded by Street People of Los Angeles paint a picture of a blighted city with conditions resembling the most troubled cities of nations such as Mexico, India, and Brazil, although there’s an arguable case that even the poorest cities of the latter are cleaner and more orderly than the city of Angels.
Homeless tent encampments have swelled beyond sidewalks in many of Los Angeles’ neighborhoods close to Venice Beach, formerly a hip hangout in the 20th century frequented by bodybuilders, actors and musicians.
The city calls this someone’s “belongings”. They won’t clean it up so they put cones in the street and close the sidewalk to block it off. Beverly Blvd in Koreatown #Insanity 📷 @shitangeles on IG pic.twitter.com/HVwwMBjxbR
