‘We Honor Faith, Family And Country’: Candace Cameron Bure On Making Faith-Based Films
By Katie Jerkovich
Candace Cameron Bure talked about making faith-based films for the Great American Family Network, saying that their goal was to honor “faith, family, and country” in film — something she said was often missing.
During an interview with the 47-year-old actress and GAF CEO Bill Abbott, the two talked to Fox News about making Christmas movies that honor those who serve our country and celebrates family.
“I think we want to create an oasis in a cultural desert,” Bure told the outlet.
Abbott added, “I think that the culture overall needs it. And there is just so little content out there that serves family and faith and is done in a quality way. And so that is a very big part of what our mission is and what we do, and the demand is huge.”
