“I just got swatted.”
InfoWars host Chase Geiser on Tuesday said that he was swatted, coming a little over one day after InfoWars reporter Jamie White was killed outside of his apartment in Austin, Texas.
“I just got swatted,” Geiser wrote on X. In response to a post asking whether the two incidents were related, Geiser wrote, “We were both on the same Ukraine enemies of the state list, seems unrelated to what happened to Jamie but related to the fact we’ve been reporting about being in the list.
White was found unresponsive, “lying on the ground in a parking lot with apparent trauma to his body” shortly before midnight on Sunday, Austin police said. He was pronounced dead at 12:19 am on Monday after being transported to a local hospital.
Police said that white had been shot in the parking lot of his apartment complex, and that detectives believe the suspects, who fled the scene, “were possibly burglarizing White’s vehicle, when he interrupted them.”
