President Donald Trump — in his second non-consecutive term as the 47th President of the United States — has once again ignited media hysteria, this time with a bold new line of “Trump 2028” merchandise.
The limited-edition drop features t-shirts and hats with the tagline “Rewrite the Rules,” poking the hornet’s nest of constitutional purists and triggering outrage across left-wing media platforms.
Eric Trump helped kick off the campaign, posting a photo of himself proudly wearing a bright red “Trump 2028” hat with the caption: “A wonderful compliment! #NeverSayNever.”
The Trump Store is already selling shirts for $36 in red, navy, and gray — proudly made in America and 100% cotton — with slogans that dare the political class to try and stop him.
While the 22nd Amendment prohibits any person from being elected to the presidency more than twice, Trump has openly floated the idea of finding a legal workaround. During a morning phone interview in March with NBC News’ Kristen Welker, President Trump declined to dismiss the possibility of pursuing a third term—despite the constitutional two-term limit.
“There are methods” to make it happen, Trump said, without elaborating on specifics. The president pivoted to his popularity within the Republican Party.
