Fort Stewart Mass Shooter Identified as Army Sergeant Quornelius Radford; Fellow Soldiers Tackled Him “Without Hesitation” – With Dispatch Audio
The Fort Stewart mass shooter was identified as 28-year active-duty Army Sergeant Quornelius Radford. The motive for the shooting is still not known.
Radford used his own firearm.
Five soldiers were injured after Quornelius Radford opened fire at Fort Stewart in Georgia on Wednesday morning.
The five injured soldiers were transported to a hospital and are in stable condition.
President Trump said federal officials are on scene at Fort Stewart to make sure that Radford is “prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

During a presser, Brigadier General John Lubas confirmed the shooter is Quornelius Radford. Lubas said fellow soldiers tackled Radford as soon as he opened fire.
