Canadian Government to Euthanize Popular Children’s Author Due to Cognitive Decline
by Frank Bergman
The Canadian government is preparing to euthanize Robert Munsch after the beloved children’s author was diagnosed with dementia.
Munsch will be killed by lethal injection under the government’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program.
The news that Munsch will be euthanized for cognitive decline has put Canada’s reckless eugenics regime back in the spotlight.
Munsch, 80, who entertained generations of children with his whimsical stories, disclosed in a recent interview with The New York Times that he is due to be killed by “assisted suicide” following his dementia diagnosis.
Pro-life leaders are calling the revelation a devastating “wake-up call” for Canada.
In a post on X, Campaign Life Coalition (CLC) wrote:
“The recent news that beloved children’s author, Robert Munsch, is choosing euthanasia because of dementia should wake us up.”
CLC blasted the Liberal government’s euthanasia system as “reckless,” warning that Munsch’s approval shows how dangerously easy it is to qualify.
“The fact that he was actually approved shows just how ridiculous and reckless Canada’s approval process has become,” CLC said.
“What kind of message does that send to seniors, to families, to the vulnerable?”
