Protesters carried banners with slogans such as “Christianity for Ireland , ” “Family, Church, Nation,” and “Respect Our Heritage.”
For several hours, Dublin’s main arteries were filled with chants and proclamations in defense of faith and against what they described as an accelerated process of secularization.
