The Department of War recently introduced a new press policy and announced the ‘next generation of the Pentagon press corps.’

(LifeSiteNews) — LifeSiteNews has received official press credentials for the U.S. Department of War.

On Wednesday, Sean Parnell, Assistant to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, announced the “next generation of the Pentagon press corps.”

“We are excited to announce over 60 journalists, representing a broad spectrum of new media outlets and independent journalists, have signed the Pentagon’s media access policy and will be joining the new Pentagon press corps.”

“New media outlets and independent journalists have created the formula to circumvent the lies of the mainstream media and get real news directly to the American people,” he continued. “Their reach and impact collectively are far more effective and balanced than the self-righteous media who chose to self-deport from the Pentagon. Americans have largely abandoned digesting their news through the lens of activists who masquerade as journalists in the mainstream media.”

Among the newly accredited journalists is LifeSiteNews reporter Wade Searle.

“I am honored to announce that I have received press credentials from the Department of War, and @LifeSite has officially joined the Pentagon press corps,” Searle wrote on X. “I look forward to bringing LifeSite readers news directly from the Pentagon and greatly appreciate this tremendous step forward into unprecedented transparency.”
